Westwood PTA (PAW - Parent Association of Westwood)
The Westwood parent group officially became PAW (Parent Association of Westwood) in the summer of 2010. PAW strives to enrich children's lives and provide many opportunities for them. The group helps raise money for many of the activities children participate in at Westwood. The resources help fund field trips, activities and busing. Help make Westwood children's experience a great one! Please join the parent group. Meetings are at 5:00 in the conference room at Westwood.
Westwood PAW is proud to support students by funding:
- Academic achievement programs
- Anti-bullying programming
- Art and counseling programs
- Crisis fund
- Grade-level field trips and activities within each classroom
- Fall Trunk or Treat
- "I Love to Read" month activities and Family night
- Technology
- Art, music and physical education departments
- Playground equipment
- GREAT Theatre Company
- Staff appreciation days
- End-of-the-school-year Picnic
- Many other activities and events throughout the school year!
